We Built This Because We Kept Seeing the Same Thing Destroy Good Companies

Roman and Wojtek met while working on opposite sides of the same problem: one reading the financial damage in the numbers, the other watching it unfold in the rooms where decisions were made. The pattern was always the same. The root cause was almost always organizational.

Heavyweight Strategy was founded to close that gap. We combine rigorous financial diagnostics with deep organizational assessment — simultaneously, in the same engagement. We don't hand off a report and move on. We stay in the room until the EBITDA proves the work is done.

Co-Founder · Numbers & Finance

Roman spent 20+ years in investment banking, private equity, and financial diagnostics across CEE, Western Europe, and the Nordics. He has led financial due diligence on transactions exceeding €2B in aggregate value and restructured the P&L of companies ranging from 50 to 3,000 employees.

His diagnostic obsession: finding the exact mechanism by which a company's financial performance diverges from its operational reality. In most cases, the answer is organizational — not financial. That's why he partnered with Wojtek.

Roman is based in Tallinn, Estonia, where Heavyweight Strategy's northern operations are anchored. He advises investors and boards on pre-investment assessment, post-merger integration, and portfolio company performance.

Wojtek has spent two decades building, breaking, and rebuilding organizations. From early-stage startups scaling past their first structural crisis to multinational enterprises managing post-acquisition complexity — he has led organizational redesigns, leadership transitions, and culture transformations across industries and geographies.

One constraint has never changed: the numbers have to improve. He doesn't consult from the outside — he embeds, works alongside the leadership team, and stays until the structural fix is measurable in the P&L.

Wojtek is based in Rzeszów, Poland, and leads Heavyweight Strategy's central European client work. He specializes in decision-rights redesign, leadership effectiveness, and the organizational root causes of EBITDA volatility.
