Questions
Answers to what people ask us most.

Do you visit our offices?

Yes. We begin with a free 30-minute introductory call to understand your situation. If we decide to work together, we agree a clear plan and scope — and then we come to you. A proper leadership audit and management due diligence cannot be done from a spreadsheet. We meet your team on-site, sit in the rooms where decisions are made, and conduct structured interviews with the people who actually run the business. That is where the real picture emerges.

My company needs investment — how do I improve my chances of getting it?

Investors fund teams, not just numbers. Before you raise, we run a leadership audit and pre-investment due diligence on your own organization — the same scrutiny a serious investor will apply. We find the gaps, key-person dependencies, and structural weaknesses that quietly kill deals, and we give you honest, practical fixes before they cost you the round. The goal is simple: you walk into the room investor-ready, not exposed.

We are investing a large amount into a startup — what problems should we expect?

The risks that destroy returns are rarely in the financial model — they are in the team. Undefined decision authority, founder dependency, leadership gaps, and organizational debt are usually invisible in standard reporting until they break at scale. Our pre-investment due diligence assesses the leadership and structure you are actually buying, scores the risk, and tells you what to fix first — before you deploy capital, not after.

How are you different from a Big 4 firm?

When a Big 4 firm audits you, partners sell the work — but juniors often do it. You frequently end up teaching newcomers who are learning their job while billing you for it. With us, the partners who win the engagement are the ones in the room. Every partner brings decades of real experience in finance, private equity, and organizational design, and comes to share the best knowledge we have — not to be trained at your expense.

Why choose you over a larger consultancy?

Speed, candour, and personal attention. We tell you the truth in week one — not a polished deck in month three. We work personally alongside founders and investors, and we are tied to outcomes: the numbers have to improve, or the engagement isn't done. We are driven by getting the answer right, not by issuing six- and seven-figure invoices. That changes everything about how the work gets done.

I am a very experienced executive — how can you help me?

Experienced leaders rarely lack answers — they lack a confidential sparring partner for the decisions they cannot discuss with their board or their team. Our private executive advisory gives you an independent, senior perspective on high-stakes calls where the cost of error is significant. We challenge your thinking, pressure-test your strategy, and bring an outside view rooted in decades of organizational and financial experience.

Do you mentor me if I'm not yet a CEO or C-suite executive?

Yes. Our executive mentoring is built for rising leaders, not only those already at the top. It compresses the strategic judgment that normally takes twenty years to acquire into focused, confidential, one-to-one guidance — preparing you for the decisions and scrutiny that come with senior leadership before you get there.

Do you issue a report after your work?

Yes. You receive a detailed report — agreed in scope beforehand — setting out our observations, scored risks, prioritized recommendations, and clear solutions for improvement, each with defined ownership. We also hold a final review meeting to walk you through the findings, answer questions, and align on what to do next. We don't hand off a document and disappear — we stay until the changes take hold.
